HELLO

FRIENDS!

Animal ArkAid are appalled at the number of animals being neglected, abused and abandoned and we are doing our best to support the amazing charities that look after these animals through our fundraising efforts.

We aim to support as many charities as possible so that they can continue the fantastic work that they do rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing animals that have had a bad start in life.

If you think you can help with fundraising or would like to join Animal ArkAid at our next event please use the Contact Us form at the bottom of the page.

DOG SHOW & FAMILY FUN DAY 2023

Despite the days of pouring rain leading up to our event this year, we didn't let it dampen our spirits!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along to our annual Dog Show and Family Fun Day in Horsforth!  It was such a great day with lots of money raised for charities.

We were joined by Shona from Channel 5's The Yorkshire Vet who very kindly stuck out the rain to judge our categories.

The event raised almost £4000 towards helping animals in need.

DOG SHOW & FAMILY FUN DAY 2022

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended our Dog Show & Family Fun Day in Horsforth on 2nd October!  It was a fantastic event with our largest attendance for this event.

Thank you to the amazing charities that show up every year to promote their services and raise awareness for animals in need.  They all went away with a cheque for £300 to support their incredible work.

It was great to see Matt The Vet from Channel 5's 'The Yorkshire Vet' and his wife who kindly agreed to present our cheques and judge some categories in our arena!

About Animal ArkAid

Animal ArkAid are a group of dedicated animal lovers who recognise how hard it is for animal charities and rescue centres to continue doing the wonderful work that they do.

Looking after animals, especially those that may have been mistreated and neglected is expensive and time-consuming, so back in 2010, we decided to start a a fundraising group to help out!

In January 2021, Animal ArkAid became a registered charity in England & Wales.  This has allowed us to continue working on our fundraising efforts and will hopefully open some exciting new doors for us in the future.

Our registered charity number is 1193072 (Registered in England & Wales)

Our aim is to help local animal charities and organisations, and we would love to hear suggestions about who we could help, and also how we could help!  So if you have a fundraising idea, but need help getting it going please contact us, and we will help if it's possible.
