Rita Panayi Reid
Chair - Trustee
It was Rita's idea to start a group that could raise money for local animal charities. Rita has been an animal lover all her life and is determined that AAA will make a difference to animals in need. Rita works tirelessly for the welfare of animals, supporting local charity, Catch with their educational farm.
Debs Kirby
Trustee
Debs is the owner of Hartley Wood Boarding Kennels in Leeds and has over 30 years experience of looking after dogs. She loves nothing more than helping to raise funds for animal welfare and rescues.
Maureen Jackson
Trustee
Maureen is a big cat lover and has a rescue cat called Jasper.
She works tirelessly to support our events come rain or shine, and can often be heard saying "I only offered to make the bacon sandwiches!"
Dan Dainter
Trustee & Webmaster
Dan is responsible for our online presence and provides technical support for our events. Dan is a keen animal lover, has two gorgeous ginger cats and has owned many pets in the past.
You can often hear Dan's voice over the PA System at our events.
Julia Owens
Committee
Julia loves all animals and thinks that we should use our voices to speak up for those who can't speak for themselves.
Julia has fostored many kittens while they're waiting for their forever home.
Audrey Burdon
Committee
Audrey loves all animals and has always been committed to their welfare. She has rescued and fostered many pets throughout her life and currently has a gorgeous rescue dog called Gus. Audrey is part of our social media team.
Chloe
Junior Ambassador
Chloe is part of the next generation of animal lovers continuing our work into the future.
Sally Harris
Committee
Sally is an active member of the committee who works tirelessly at all of our events to help with our fundraising.
Sally is part of Animal ArkAid as she cannot bear to think of animals being mistreated and you will often find her at our events behind a tombola or brandishing a book of raffle tickets!
Kat Thorley
Committee
Kat became involved with Animal Arkaid through volunteering work with the German Shepherd Dog Rescue North East.
Can often be found working on the stalls at fundraising events.
Joanne
Committee
The newest member of the committee and volunteer team.
We cannot wait to find out more about Joanne as we work on more wonderful events.

Ryan Pinnons
Committee
Ryan loves all animals, particularly goats. Ryan is passionate about educating young people about the need to protect animals and he regularly campaigns for animals rights. Ryan's love for animals has allowed him to work with animals in countries as far away as China and Uganda.
Debbie Salmon
Committee
Debs lives with her husband Alan, her cat, Holly and her dog, Millie.
She's rescued both Millie, a terrier, and Holly about 10 years ago and she loves them very much.
